The agent of Simone Zaza has hinted the striker could leave West Ham at the end of the season and return to Italy.
Zaza, 26, joined West Ham from Juventus on an initial season-long loan deal in the summer but has failed to have any impact in the Premier League thus far and was benched in favour of winger Michail Antonio last time out.
The Hammers reportedly have a clause in their deal with Juventus that would make the swap permanent after a set number of appearances, but his father and agent, Antonio, admits his future is far from clear at West Ham.
“I honestly don’t know, I think we’ll analyse the various situations,” he told Calciomercato, via Sky Sports. “Either tomorrow or the day after I’ll be in London to take stock of the situation with Simone and West Ham.
“The situation isn’t very clear, I can’t guarantee that he’ll stay in London until the end of the season or that he’ll definitely leave. Firstly it will be important to analyse everything with my son.
“No, no-one from Napoli has called me recently. As you know, there was a concrete deal last summer but no-one has called me again.
“Milan? Not for the moment, no. These two destinations would be very welcome, if they called me I’d talk to them willingly.”
The Italy international, who blazed his penalty in the semi finals of Euro 2016 over the bar, is yet to score for West Ham and has made seven appearances for Slaven Bilic’s side in the Premier League this season.
West Ham were desperate to sign a world class striker before they moved into the London Stadium over the summer and after chasing the likes of Alexandre Lacazette and Carlos Bacca, finally ended up with Juventus reserve striker Zaza.
Of outfielders to have started at least five games in the Premier League this season Zaza ranks among the 10 lowest rated players (6.38).
