Manchester United have expressed a firm interest in Valencia midfielder Andre Gomes, according to Radio Valencia, via 101 Great Goals.
Gomes has been regularly linked with a move away from the Mestalla and Juventus are thought to be in pole position to sign the Portugal international.
The 22-year-old still has four years remaining on his current deal at Valencia, which contains a staggering €150m release clause.
No team will pay that much for the elegant central midfielder, but United have expressed an interest ahead of an approach in the summer.
Gomes has endured a frustrating season as Valencia have disappointed, but he has nevertheless completed the most dribbles (50) for Los Che in La Liga in the current campaign.
