Leeds target Ben White signs new Brighton deal

Brighton have confirmed a new long-term deal for sought after centre-back Ben White to end any speculation of his immediate future.

Leeds have had several bids for White knocked back this summer in an attempt to sign the 22-year-old permanently.

Marcelo Bielsa's side even had an offer as high as £25m knocked back by Brighton and Graham Potter's side have now rewarded White with an four-year deal running until 2024.

White still had three years left to run on his previous deal but Brighton have rewarded the youngster with improved terms after an immense campaign for Leeds last season.
