Leicester outcast considering future

Demarai Gray will consider his future at Leicester City at the end of the season after growing frustrated by a lack of game time during his first year at the club, reports The Daily Telegraph.

The England Under-21 international joined Leicester from Birmingham in a £3.5m deal at the start of the season but has been restricted to limited time on the pitch under both Claudio Ranieri and now Craig Shakespeare.

Gray has shown flashes of brilliance this season, including a sensational long-range goal against Manchester United, but will consider his future at the club as he seeks regular game time.

Leicester have denied the 20-year-old has a £22m release clause in his existing deal but there are strong reports on the contrary to that, while the versatile winger has previously been linked with a move to Everton this season.

Gray has only started nine Premier League games this season and been forced to make 17 appearances from the bench, the most used substitute in England’s top flight of all Leicester players this season.
