Jose Mourinho wants to make Manchester United his next job in management, according to ESPN.
The 52-year-old only parted ways with Chelsea on Thursday, but already has his eyes set on replacing Louis van Gaal as the United manager.
Van Gaal has already admitted he could soon follow Mourinho out of a job should results at United fail to improve and he could have just talked his Barcelona apprentice into his own seat.
Mourinho has long been linked with the United job and some had suggested he would be Sir Alex Ferguson’s successor, however Mourinho wasn’t interested in the job at the time.
The former Real Madrid manager was experiencing his worst ever season in his managerial career before being relinquished of his duties by Chelsea. In fact, Mourinho oversaw as many home defeats in the Premier League this season than he had managed his whole career put together (4).
