Real Betis have announced they have signed Barcelona full-back Martin Montoya on loan until the end of the season.
Montoya, 24, had spent the first half of the season on loan at Inter but only made three league appearances for Roberto Mancini’s side before returning to Spain.
The right-back, who has represented Spain up until Under-23 level, completed his medical in Sevilla over the weekend and is now free to play for Juan Merino’s side.
Montoya has only featured once this calendar year and hasn’t completed 90 minutes since before Christmas (vs Lazio).
