In WhoScored.com’s first magazine of 2016 we reveal the top 20 players across Europe’s top five leagues based on their performances in January.
There were wholesale changes throughout, including five new entrants, as well as a new top rated player with Karim Benzema knocked off of top spot from his performances in December.
The Premier League has five representatives and some of those may come as a shock, with a player from a side threatened with relegation good enough to make the list.
