Chelsea have announced the signing of goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen from La Liga side Villarreal.
The 22-year-old Denmark youth international has penned a seven-year deal with the Blues, after a £20.7 million fee was agreed between the clubs.
“This move is a dream come true. I am very excited to have signed for Chelsea, one of the biggest clubs in the world. I can’t wait to get to know everyone and to start playing with all my new teammates,” said Jorgensen.
Jorgensen is expected to immediately compete with Robert Sanchez to be Chelsea’s first-choice goalkeeper under new manager Enzo Maresca.
