Santos forward Gabriel Barbosa has the chance to join Chelsea in order to sign a new deal with the Brazilian club, according to UOL, via Goal.com.
Barbosa, 19, has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League this summer and Chelsea had reportedly lodged a £25.7m offer for the teenager.
However, Barbosa has snubbed Chelsea’s interest and put pen to paper on a new five-year deal keeping him at the club until 2021.
The Santos forward has scored three goals and registered one assists in eight league matches this season. Furthermore, no teammate is creating more chances per game than Barbosa (1.9).
