Mauro Icardi insists he wants to stay at Inter and would even reject Manchester United amid rumours he has fallen out with head coach Roberto Mancini.
The Argentine striker was named captain at the start of the season but there have been reports he could be forced out the club after coming to blows the Inter manager.
Icardi, 22, was heavily linked with a move to Liverpool in the final days of the January transfer window, but the forward has no interest in leaving the Serie A giants and he would also reject United in order to remain at the club.
“I want to stay at Inter at all costs. I am also ready to reject Manchester United. With Mancini there’s no problem, we will do well,” Icardi told Corriere dello Sport.
Since the start of last season, only Gonzalo Higuain (26) has scored more clear-cut chances than Icardi (21).
