Dejan Lovren's six-year spell with Liverpool has come to an end after the Croat completed a move to Russian Premier League champions Zenit St. Petersburg.
The 2018 World Cup runner up had been expected to leave the Premier League champions this summer having been restricted to just nine league starts this term and has dropped behind Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip in the pecking order at Anfield.
"Liverpool Football Club can confirm Dejan Lovren has joined Zenit St. Petersburg in a permanent transfer," a statement read on the club's official website.

"The most famous of those was arguably the historic stoppage-time header against Borussia Dortmund in April 2016, which sent Liverpool into the Europa League semi-finals at the expense of Jürgen Klopp’s former team.
"Lovren departs Anfield having played an important role in last season’s Champions League triumph and as part of the squad that has collected UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup and Premier League honours during 2019-20.
