Manchester United and Arsenal are rumoured to be tracking the progress of Juventus centre-back Daniele Rugani, reports Gazzetta dello Sport.
The 21-year-old spent last season on loan with Empoli, where he impressed, earning a place in the Italy U21 squad for last year's European U21 Championship.
Despite Italy's early exit from the competition, Rugani played a key role for the side, earning a WhoScored rating of 7.53.
However, despite showing plenty of potential, the defender is yet to force his way into the Juventus set up, making just one substitute appearance in the 2-0 win over Sevilla back in September.
A loan move has been mooted in January, with Napoli, Fiorentina and Sampdoria all interested, but United and Arsenal are reportedly keen on securing the youngster's services on a permanent basis.
