Paris Saint-Germain have earmarked Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante as their top transfer target next summer, reports The Daily Mirror.
The Ligue 1 giants signed Neymar and Kylian Mbappe over the summer in deals that could be worth as much as £359m and have no intention of reigning in their expenditure despite Financial Fair Play pressures.
PSG are now ready to prise Kante away from Chelsea and are reportedly even willing to make the France international the most expensive Premier League export of all-time.
The 26-year-old has established himself as one of the Premier League’s best players in his two seasons in England and became the first player in the competition’s history to win the league in back-to-back seasons with different clubs.
Leicester paid just £5.6m to sign Kante from French side Caen in 2015 before making a £30m move to Chelsea over 12 months ago. Kante played an integral part in both league-winning campaigns and now PSG are preparing a £90m move for the Parisian.
Since August 2015, Kante has won more tackles and interceptions combined than any other Premier League player (583).
