AC Milan have announced they have signed Gianluca Lapadula from newly promoted Serie A side Pescara on a five-year deal.
Lapadula, 26, has been linked with some of the biggest clubs in Serie A this summer after his performances in Pescara’s promotion campaign last season.
Napoli and Juventus were among the clubs reportedly chasing his signature but it is Milan that has won the race to sign the Italian striker.
Lapadula scored at least 10 more goals than any other player in Serie B last season (27).
