Chelsea winger Eden Hazard has denied reports he has already agreed to join Real Madrid at the end of the season.
Hazard has been heavily linked with a move to Madrid in recent years and the Spanish giants have rekindled their interest since Zinedine Zidane’s return to the club.
The Belgium international will only have 12 months left to run on his existing Chelsea deal at the end of the season and is widely expected to leave the club this summer.
Madrid have reportedly already made contact with Chelsea about a deal but Hazard has refuted suggestions he has already agreed to join the reigning European champions.
“There’s nothing in reports,” The Daily Mirror quote Hazard as saying. “I’m only focused on [Sunday’s] game against Cyprus. That’s all I’m thinking about.”
Hazard is the only player to register double figures for goals (13) and assists (11) in the Premier League this season.
Not only that, but the 28-year-old has also completed the most dribbles (92) and only Raheem Sterling (7.73) has a higher WhoScored rating than the Belgian (7.69) in the division.
