Manchester United set stunning asking price for Paul Pogba

Manchester United will demand £140m for any team interested in signing Paul Pogba this summer, reports The Daily Mail.

Pogba’s relationship with Jose Mourinho has strained in the last few months and now there are suggestions he could leave at the end of the season.

Reports emerged earlier this months suggesting Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola has already started offering the Frenchman to other clubs.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola revealed Raiola contacted him about signing Pogba in January, while Paris Saint-Germain have allegedly also been approached.

United broke their club transfer record to re-sign Pogba from Juventus for £89m in 2016 and they will look to make a significant profit on his sale if he leaves this summer.

Pogba has endured a turbulent season, although the criticism has often been overblown. Nevertheless, it’s difficult to envisage many teams going near Pogba if United are serious about demanding £140m.

Despite his recent woes, Pogba has still played a direct hand in 15 goals in 23 league appearances this season. In fact, only three Premier League players have provided more assists than the 25-year-old (10).
