Liverpool are interested in bringing Lazio skipper Lucas Biglia to Anfield this month, according to the Daily Mirror.
The 29-year-old has been linked with an array of Premier League clubs since the end of last season and his performances since returning from injury this season have seemingly grabbed the attentions of Jurgen Klopp.
However, the Liverpool boss could face stiff competition with reports in Italy claiming Manchester United are also interested in his services, as well as a host of other European clubs.
Biglia would certainly add some steel to Liverpool’s midfield. In fact, despite only featuring in 12 of 17 league games this season, no Lazio player has won more tackles than Biglia (37), furthering his statistically calculated strength of 'tackling'.
