Villarreal have confirmed the signing of striker Paco Alcacer from Borussia Dortmund.
Alcacer has made available for transfer by Dortmund following Erling Haaland's blockbuster arrival earlier this month.
Valencia and Newcastle were both keen on signing the Spain international but Villarreal have won the race for his signature.

Valencia were only ever going to pursue Alcacer if Rodrigo Moreno joined Barcelona but that deal is now dead.
Villarreal have been on the market for a new striker since selling Karl Toko Ekambi to Lyon and hope Alcacer can rediscover form and fitness for the second half of the season.
Alcacer needs regular playing time from now until the end of the season to cement a place in Spain's squad for Euro 2020.
The 26-year-old was a revelation for Dortmund last season with 18 goals in 26 league appearances but he managed just six league games for the club this term.
Nevertheless, of players that have made at least five Bundesliga appearances since the beginning of last season, Alcacer has the best minutes-per-goal ratio in the division (one every 75.2 minutes of action.
