Real Madrid are willing to smash the £100m barrier in order to sign Paul Pogba, reports The Sun.
The Juventus star has emerged as one of the most sought after stars in Europe having excelled in Serie A, with Manchester City, Chelsea and Barcelona all keen on the youngster.
Madrid are now supposedly prepared to offer a world record £100m for Pogba, eclipsing the £85m they spent to sign Gareth Bale back in 2013.
Pogba, 22, was reportedly keen on a move to Barcelona last summer, but is now considering a switch to Madrid following the appointment of Zinedine Zidane as head coach following Rafa Benitez's sacking.
Zidane's promotion to the senior squad role could convince his compatriot to reject the overtures of the current European champions and instead move to the Bernabeu.
Only Franco Vazquez (65) has completed more successful dribbles in Serie A this season than Pogba (52), which has contributed to a WhoScored rating of 7.45.
