Manchester United forward agrees personal terms with Serie A giants

Inter have agreed personal terms with Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez, claims Gianluca Di Marzio.

Antonio Conte is eyeing a second raid of United after prising Romelu Lukaku from Old Trafford earlier this month.

The former Chelsea manager wants to overhaul Inter’s attacking options for the new season and has earmarked Sanchez as a target after missing out on Roma striker Edin Dzeko.

Roma announced a new contract for Dzeko on Friday to end any speculation about his future and force Inter back to the drawing board.

Inter have already agreed personal terms with Sanchez about a potential transfer and the player’s agent is reportedly in England to try and broker his exit from United.

The Nerazzurri are hoping to take Sanchez on loan for the season with an option to make his switch permanent in a transfer that would be worth as much as €20m (£18.3m).

Despite insisting Sanchez still has a future at United in midweek, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is planning for life without the former Arsenal star.

Sanchez will go down as one of United’s worst ever signings after managing just three goals in 32 Premier League appearances since swapping Arsenal for the Red Devils at the start of 2018.
