AC Milan want to sign Everton starlet Ademola Lookman before Thursday’s transfer deadline, claims The Daily Mirror.
The Serie A giants want to add pace to their ranks and have turned to Lookman after being priced out of a move to re-sign Watford forward Gerard Deulofeu.
Lookman has been heavily linked with a permanent move back to RB Leipzig in the last six months after struggling for regular playing time this season.
The 21-year-old is highly rated at Everton despite struggling under manager Marco Silva and they have rejected Milan’s advances.
Milan are now weighing up whether to test the waters with a formal offer before Thursday’s transfer deadline.
Lookman has made 13 Premier League appearances this season but only three have been starts.
Of players to have made at least 10 Premier League appearances this season, only Adama Traore (6.3) completes more dribbles per 90 than Lookman (3.7).
