Las Palmas sign Chelsea striker

Las Palmas announced on Thursday evening the arrival of Chelsea outcast Loic Remy on a two-year deal.

Remy has spent the last three years at Chelsea but has often been a forgotten figure during that time.

The former France international spent last season on loan at Crystal Palace where he failed to make any impression, but has now secured a permanent move to Spain.

Remy underwent a medical with Las Palmas in London after Chelsea agreed to release the 30-year-old from his existing deal and he will take part in training with some of his new teammates on Saturday.

The Frenchman has only started 10 league matches over the last three campaigns and will be desperate for regular playing time this season.
