Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel has emerged as a shock target for Barcelona in the summer, according to The Sun.
Schmeichel, 29, son of legendary former Manchester United goalkeeper, Peter, has been one of Leicester’s star performers this season, although his importance between the sticks has been lost to other individual success stories like Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez.
However, his displays this season haven’t gone unnoticed from the watchful eyes of Barcelona, who are reportedly willing to shell out £15m to sign the Denmark international as they look for a replacement for Marc-Andre Ter Stegen.
No goalkeeper has kept more clean sheets in the Premier League this season than Leicester’s No.1 (13).
