Premier League clubs showing interest in Liverpool loan star
There is an increasing pool of Premier League clubs monitoring Harry Wilson’s future this summer after a sublime campaign on loan at Derby, claims The Daily Mirror.
The Liverpool loanee has played an instrumental role in Derby’s run to the Championship play-off final and will aim to fire the Rams in the Premier League when they face Aston Villa on Monday.
Despite his impressive displays for Frank Lampard’s team, it’s unlikely that Wilson has an immediate future at Liverpool and the Reds may cash in now while his stock is at an all-time high.
It is understood that as many as six Premier League teams are interested in signing the £20m creator this summer and that list will increase to seven if Derby are promoted to the Premier League.
The Wales international has remarkably played a direct hand in 20 goals in 42 league and play-off appearances for Derby this season, while also scoring in both cup competitions.
Wilson has already established himself as a deadly set-piece taker, having scored a wonderful free-kick in Derby’s shock League Cup victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford earlier this season.
In fact, Wilson scored more free-kicks than any other player in the Championship this term (three).
