Liverpool move ahead in race for Norwich's Todd Cantwell
Liverpool have stepped up their pursuit of Norwich starlet Todd Cantwell, claims The Athletic.
Norwich are bracing themselves for offers for Cantwell at the end of the season even if they manage to beat the drop.
Daniel Farke's side find themselves bottom of the Premier League but have given Liverpool two of their toughest matches this season.
Cantwell was particularly impressive in Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp's side are keen on signing the 21-year-old this summer.
The Norwich starlet made his England Under-21 international earlier this season and has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United as a result of his fine form.
The £30m-rated creative midfielder has scored six goals and provided two assists in his maiden Premier League campaign.
In fact, Cantwell has notably netted in matches against Chelsea, Manchester City, Wolves, Arsenal and Everton this season.
