Tottenham have priced Serie A clubs out of a summer move for Mousa Dembele after demanding £30m for the midfielder, reports the London Evening Standard.
Dembele has entered the final 12 months of his existing Tottenham deal and hinted he could leave the club this summer towards the end of last season.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side are unlikely to sanction a bumper new deal for the Belgium international over concerns about his checkered injury past.
The Chinese Super League has been suggested as a possible destination for Dembele, while several Serie A sides, including Juventus and Inter, have also been linked.
However, no Serie A team will be willing to match Tottenham's £30m demands for Dembele, despite the fact the player’s preference is to move to Italy.
Of the 157 Premier League players that have attempted at least 50 dribbles since the start of last season, only Mario Lemina (88.7%) and Jan Vertonghen (86.2%) have a better success rate than Dembele (84.4%).
