Brighton have announced Lewis Dunk, Shane Duffy and Anthony Knockaert have all put pen to paper on new long-term deals.
Dunk and Knockaert have agreed terms to a new five-year deals that run until 2022, while Duffy has penned a four-year contract until 2021.
Brighton are looking to establish themselves as Premier League regulars after impressing in the Championship last season and news of three of their best players committing their futures to the club will give them a welcome boost.
“Lewis, Shane and Anthony were key members of our promotion-winning side last season, and I fully expect them to be important members of the team once again this season,” manager Chris Hughton told the club’s official website.
“They’re relishing the step up to the new level and each have the capability to perform and excel in the Premier League – and they have certainly earned these new deals with their performances on the pitch.
"It’s been a really straightforward process getting everything completed and I’m absolutely delighted that three key members of the squad have committed their futures to the Albion.”
Brighton lost their first ever Premier League match when they were beaten 2-0 by Manchester City last weekend but they will be looking to get their first points on the board this weekend when they face Knockaert’s former side, Leicester.
Knockaert wasn’t fit enough to start against City but is expected back in the starting XI this weekend where he will want to impress against his former club.
The 26-year-old finished last season as the highest WhoScored rated player in the Championship (7.60) after playing a direct hand in 23 goals in 45 appearances (15 goals, eight assists).
