Tottenham are determined to beat their Premier League rivals to the signature of Norwich teenager Maximillian Aarons, claims The Daily Mirror.
Aarons has been linked with a summer move to a number of Premier League clubs after playing an important part in Norwich’s promotion push.
The 19-year-old has started all but five of Norwich’s league matches this season and the Canaries are currently top of the Championship on goal difference.
Tottenham have now made a signing in more than 12 months but Mauricio Pochettino will have money to spend at the end of the season.

Aarons, who is an England Under-19 international, has impressively weighed in with two goals and four assists from full-back this season.
Of players aged 21 and under in the Championship, only two players have provided more assists than Aarons this season.
