Barcelona are set to make a sensational move for former Manchester United striker Robin van Persie when the transfer window opens in January, reports Mundo Deportivo.
Van Perise, 32, left United to join Turkish outfit Fenerbahce over the summer, but has been cut a frustrating figure at times this season.
Barcelona are currently thin for options up front with injuries to key players and they have since been linked with a range of strikers including former Juventus marksman Sebastian Giovinco.
The Netherlands international has only started three league matches for Fenerbahce this season with a further four appearances coming from the bench. Despite being cast in and out of the starting XI, the veteran has still managed to chip in with three goals for the Yellow Canaries.
