Roma are still hopeful of securing the services of Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko and have offered the Premier League side €20m for the Bosnian frontman.
Dzeko has fallen down the pecking order at the Etihad Stadium following the January arrival of Wilfried Bony, with Roma keen to take the striker off City's hands this summer.
The Serie A side have supposedly offered the 29-year-old a five-year contract worth €4.5m a season and remain confident of striking a deal with City and the player before the new season gets underway next month.
Dzeko signed a new four-year deal with City last summer, yet failed to establish himself for the Citizens, netting only 4 league goals in 22 appearances last season.
Stevan Jovetic is another striker expected to leave City during the transfer window, with a host of Serie A teams credited with an interest in the former Fiorentina star.
