Real Madrid and Barcelona are both monitoring the progress of Inter defender Jeison Murillo, according to Don Balon.
Murillo, 23, only joined Inter from Spanish minnows Granada over the summer but he has excelled at the heart of Roberto Mancini’s defence and has been an integral part behind their phenomenal defensive record this season.
However, his performances are beginning to catch the eye of La Liga’s two powerhouses and they are believed to be watching his progress with a view to making an offer.
Murillo only cost Inter £5.8m, but the Serie A side are thought to be able to recoup at least four times that figure if Real Madrid or Barcelona come in for the Colombia international.
Since the start of the season, no Inter player has made more interceptions than Murillo in Serie A (31).
