Arsenal are considering making a move for former academy player Oguzhan Ozyakup, according to Turkish publication AMK.
Arsene Wenger’s side sold Ozyakup to Besiktas in 2012 for £350,000 but his performances have caught the eye of his former employers.
According to AMK, reports Arsenal sent scouts to watch the midfielder score the winner in Besiktas’ 1-0 win over Bursaspor on Sunday and will have to fork out in excess of £8m to lure him back to north London.
No player in the Turkish Super Lig has registered more assists than Ozyakup this season (5) and only three players have garnered a higher WhoScored rating than the 23-year-old (7.47) thus far.
