Tottenham captain on Real Madrid’s wishlist

Real Madrid have added Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris to their wishlist in their bid to bolster at the back, reports the Sun on Sunday.

Lloris has established himself as one of the Premier League’s star shotstopper’s at White Hart Lane and recently penned a new deal until 2022.

Spurs are under no pressure to cash in on the France number one, but know they would struggle to retain Lloris’ services if Real Madrid firm up their rumoured interest.

Luka Modric and Gareth Bale have both left Spurs for Madrid in recent years and the north London side are understandably concerned that Lloris could follow suit.

However, Lloris isn’t the number one goalkeeping target for Real Madrid, who are set to sell Keylor Navas at the end of the season.

Thibaut Courtois is their preferred choice, though David De Gea and Gianluigi Donnarumma are both supposed targets for the Spanish giants.

A move for De Gea fell through in 2015, while Courtois, despite Chelsea’s form this term, is keen to return to Madrid.

Donnarumma is tipped for a big future in the game, but if Real Madrid can’t lure the trio to the Bernabeu, then they will turn their interest to 30-year-old Lloris.
