Palermo talisman Franco Vazquez has conceded this will be his last season at Palermo after four years at the club.
The Italy international has been regularly linked with a move away from Palermo with the likes of Juventus rumoured to be interested in his services.
Any suitors have now been placed on high alert after Vazquez revealed he will move onto the next stage of his career after the European Championship’s over the summer.
“I am dreaming of a place at Euro 2016 with Italy, but first I have to concentrate on doing well with Palermo,” Vazquez told Sky Italia.
“I think the Nazionale arrives as a consequence of what players do at club level. I’ve been at Palermo for three years now, I have matured both as a player and as a man. I am a different person to the one who first arrived in 2012.
“Being at Palermo was a very important part of my growth process. I will certainly stay here until the end of the season, then we’ll see.
“Clearly like every player I want to go to a more important club so I can improve and also set bigger objectives like winning objectives. Right now I don’t want to think about the future, because it would only be counter-productive.”
Since the start of the 2013/14 Serie A campaign, no player has garnered a higher WhoScored rating than Vazquez (7.70).
