Chelsea are confident of securing the services of Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan, reports the Daily Telegraph.
The Belgian is committed to the Serie A side, but is incoming manager Antonio Conte's priority as he looks to build his midfield around the tenacious 28-year-old.
Chelsea have seen an offer of £23m for Nainggolan rejected by Roma, who are holding out for a bid of £32m before being tempted into selling.
The Premier League side feel the player is avoiding putting himself in a problematic position with the Roma fans and believe they will push the deal over the line before the new season begins.
