Tottenham are interested in signing Watford captain Troy Deeney this summer, according to The Sun.
Deeney, 27, took his time to find his feet in the Premier League last summer but proved a consistent performer for Watford in their first season back in England’s top-flight in eight years.
The England striker isn’t among Tottenham’s main transfer targets but Mauricio Pochettino is interested in bringing him to White Hart Lane if the opportunity presents itself over the summer.
Only three England players scored more goals in the Premier League last season than Deeney (13) and no player won more aerial duels than the Watford No.9 (235).
