Adrien Rabiot has revealed to Telefoot that he is hoping to secure a loan move away from PSG when the transfer window reopens next month.
While the midfielder has featured fairly regularly for the Ligue 1 side this season, he's expected to drop out of the starting XI once Marco Verratti returns from injury.
Rabiot has made eight league starts for PSG this campaign, two short of his total in France's top tier last term, and has garnered a commendable WhoScored rating of 7.35 in the process.
The news that he wants out of the Parisian giants is likely to put Arsenal and Tottenham on red alert, with the pairing credited with an interest in the youngster over the last 12 months.
The duo could go head-to-head for his signature, with Rabiot reportedly telling PSG that he wants the club to loan him out "as a Christmas present" in January.
Rabiot, 20, was heavily linked with a short-term move to Spurs back in January, though it remains to be seen whether his signature is the club's priority in the New Year following the emergence of Dele Alli and with a new striker higher on the club's wish list.
Arsenal, however, could certainly utilise a player of Rabiot's ability, particularly with Mikel Arteta, Francis Coquelin and Santi Cazorla all sidelined for the foreseeable future.
