Zenit St. Petersburg manager Andre Villas-Boas wants to take Chelsea outcast Radamel Falcao on loan when the transfer window reopens in January, according to the Daily Telegraph.
Falcao, 29, is currently on a season-long loan deal from Monaco having failed to make any impression at Manchester United last season.
However, the Colombia international has failed to make any impression at Stamford Bridge and former Chelsea manager Villas-Boas is hoping to take advantage of the situation to bring the forward to Russia for the rest of the campaign.
Despite Chelsea’s shortcomings in the league this season and Diego Costa’s problems, Falcao has only started one match with a further seven substitute appearances.
