Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has announced Raul Albiol has signed a new four-year deal keeping him at the club until 2020.
Albiol, 31, had entered the final 12 months of his existing deal but has joined defensive partner Kalidou Koulibaly in committing their long-term future to the club.
It is being reported that the former Spain international has also had an €8m (£6.9m) release clause in his new deal, which Laurentiis confirmed on his official Twitter page.
