Having recently agreed to join Serie A champions Juventus come the end of the season when his Arsenal contract expires, Aaron Ramsey could yet make the move to Turin this month, The Mirror reports.
The Welsh international will bid farewell to the Gunners this year, but the club would be willing to let the midfielder leave sooner rather than later should Juve be willing to stump up £18m.
It remains to be seen if any such option would entice the league leaders in Italy, particularly given the commanding lead that they hold ahead of a return to league action next week.
Max Allegri is not short of midfield options either, with Miralem Pjanic, Rodrigo Bentancur, Blaise Matuidi, Sami Khedira and Emre Can all on the clubs books, though Ramsey would be available to compete in the Champions League for the club.
European glory is the ultimate goal for the Old Lady having established their dominance domestically for a number of years now, but such a high cost move for a player already set to sign in the summer would seem unlikely.
The 28-year-old has seen limited playing time this season due to his contract situation and an unwillingness to renew terms over the summer but has still contributed with two goals and six assists having started just eight of 19 league appearances.
