Watford have no interest in losing manager Marco Silva and will block any approaches from their Premier League rivals, claims the London Evening Standard.
The Hornets have made a sensational start to the season under Silva’s stewardship and the 40-year-old is quickly becoming hot property in the Premier League.
Leicester and Everton are both currently in the market for a new manager and both clubs have listed Silva on their shortlist.
However, Watford are confident that Silva’s head will not be turned by recent speculation and they will block any advances from interested clubs.
Watford are currently sixth in the Premier League and the Hornets will do well to keep the Portuguese beyond the end of the current campaign if they continue in this fashion.
Despite only losing two games all season, Silva will be concerned by the amount of goals Watford concede. In fact, only three teams have shipped more goals in the Premier League this season than the Hornets (17).
