Branislav Ivanovic’s agent is confident the defender will sign a new deal with Chelsea amid speculation linking him with a move away from Stamford Bridge.
Ivanovic, whose current deal is set to expire at the end of the season, has been one of Chelsea’s weakest players during their torrid start to the new campaign.
Inter are reportedly interested in the services of the Serbia international and while his agent, Zoran Krneta, refused to rule out a move, he believes Ivanovic’s future remains in west London.
“Probably he will renew his deal with Chelsea,” Krneta told InterLive.it.
“Rumours about Inter? In football everything is possible. Anyway, the Nerazzurri could be interested to him for the summer market and not the winter one.”
Of players to start at least five Premier League matches, no Chelsea teammate has garnered a lower WhoScored rating than Ivanovic thus far (6.52).
