Manchester United winger Ashley Young has put pen to paper on a new three-year deal ending speculation regarding his future at Old Trafford, according to ESPN.
Young’s original deal was set to expire next summer and there had been no offer to extend his stay as of last month, the player revealed.
The England international didn’t appear to have a future at United 12 months ago, but finished last season as one of Louis van Gaal’s most consistent performers.
In fact, only five of his United teammates finished the Premier League with a higher WhoScored rating than the former Aston Villa winger (7.23).
