Man Utd in dark over Pogba's future

Paul Pogba has given no indication to Manchester United he wants to extend his stay at the club as talks about his future rumbles on, reports The Daily Mail.

The France international has entered the final 12 months of his current United contract and the Red Devils fear losing him on a free next summer.

Pogba has previously been linked with blockbuster moves to Barcelona and Real Madrid but neither are in a position to sign him this summer.

Former club Juventus are also out of the running but Paris Saint-Germain are ready to make a serious play for his services.

PSG have been one the most active clubs in the transfer window this summer having already signed Sergio Ramos, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Gini Wijnaldum and Achraf Hakimi.

The French giants are keen to bring Pogba home but must first sell to balance their books before they can make their move.

Pogba is currently on holiday in Miami after his exploits at Euro 2020 and United still don't know what his intentions are.

Talk of PSG planning to bid £45m for Pogba is unlikely to go down well at Old Trafford as they shelled out twice that fee to bring him back to the club in 2016.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is said to be working on a more adventurous formation to bring the best out of Pogba but those plans will be for nothing if he does end up leaving.

Defensive duo Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw actually played a direct hand in as many Premier League goals as Paul Pogba (6) last season.
