Stoke leading chase for England Under-21 international

Stoke are the frontrunners to sign £8m-rated Norwich City winger Nathan Redmond, according to The Daily Mail.

Redmond, 23, is widely expected to leave Norwich in the summer after they were relegated to the Championship.

The England international only has just more than 12 months remaining on his current deal and Norwich will be forced to cash in on the winger this summer rather than let him go for nothing next time around.

Redmond found himself confusingly out of the starting XI for periods this season despite the fact he was clearly Norwich’s most creative player. In fact only Dieumerci Mbokani (7) scored more goals in the Premier League this season for Norwich than Redmond (6) and no teammate completed more dribbles (59).
