Chelsea have been told they will have to pay £8m to secure the services of centre-back Emmanuel Mammana, according to Goal.com.
The 20-year-old is expected to depart River Plate for Europe this summer, with Inter Milan and Fiorentina both rumoured to be interested in the defender.
Mammana made just seven starts for River Plate in the Primera Division this season, but his performances returned a fine WhoScored rating of 7.48.
The player's representative, Hernan Reguera, is reported to have held initial talks with Chelsea in London over a possible switch to Stamford Bridge this summer.
Mammana's contract runs to June 2019 and he has a release clause of £11m, though it's believed the Argentine side will accept a fee of £8m.
