Lucas Moura’s agent has revealed Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho wants to bring the Paris Saint-Germain forward to Old Trafford.
The 24-year-old was heavily linked with a move to United before joining PSG from Sao Paulo for €45m (£38.5m) in January 2013.
However, United could be set to rekindle their interest in Moura after his agent revealed Mourinho wants to bring him to the club after failing to do so during his time at Real Madrid.
“Who called Lucas Moura [to Real Madrid]? It wasn’t Florentino Perez who wanted Lucas Moura, it was Mourinho,” Ribeiro told television program Bola da Vez, via ESPN.
“Mourinho was and is passionate about Lucas Moura. So much so that now at Manchester he wants Lucas as well.”
Since January 2013 Moura has completed at least 75 more dribbles than any other player in Ligue 1.
