Everton have made an approach to Lille about a summer move for teenager striker Rafael Leao, claims The Daily Mail.
Leao is highly rated on the continent and was heavily linked with a move to Manchester City before joining Lille last summer.
The 19-year-old striker is now on Everton’s radar, as Marco Silva’s side want to bolster their offensive options at the end of the season.
Richarlison, Cenk Tosun and Dominic Calvert-Lewin have shared responsibility of leading the line for Everton this summer but all have flattered to deceive at times.
Everton have now turned their attentions to Leao and Lille are bracing themselves for offers for the teenager and star winger Nicolas Pepe at the end of the season.
Leao has scored seven goals and provided two assists in 19 league appearances for Lille this season, who currently occupy second spot in Ligue 1.
The Lille No.7 scored six times in the space of seven games between December and January and his contributions this season have been worth seven extra points.
