Juventus want to offer Alvaro Morata a way out of his Chelsea hell by signing him on an initial loan deal this summer, reports The Independent.
Morata enjoyed the best football of his career to date during a two-year stint at Juventus, which led to Real Madrid re-signing the striker in 2016.
The Spain international has struggled to nail down a regular starting berth throughout his career and has already admitted to struggles adapting to the busy London lifestyle over the last 12 months.
Chelsea shelled out a club-record £60m fee to sign Morata from Madrid last summer but his time at the club could already be coming to a close.
After making an impressive start to life at Chelsea, Morata’s form has dipped tremendously and now he may not even be picked by Spain for the 2018 World Cup.
Chelsea are not set on selling Morata but Juventus are hopeful of pulling off a loan move with an obligation to buy for their former striker.
The two clubs have previously agreed on a similar deal, which saw Juan Cuadrado leave Chelsea to join Juventus in 2015.
Morata finished his first league campaign in England with 11 goals in 31 appearances, providing an additional six assists. Moreover, no Premier League player scored more headed goals than the 25-year-old (7).
