PSG hoping to fend off Real Madrid interest in star forward
French giants PSG have offered striker Kylian Mbappe a new two-year deal worth £136m as they hope to fend off interest from La Liga giants Real Madrid, reports Spanish publication AS.
Mbappe has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid in recent years but each time, PSG have managed to convince the 25-year-old to remain in the French capital.
PSG are hoping they can again retain the France international's services that would see the forward extend his stay in Paris.
Reports earlier this year suggest that Mbappe has already agreed to move to Real Madrid in the summer though PSG were quick to rebuff rumours of a summer switch to Spain.
Mbappe was an unused sub in PSG's 3-1 win over Lille on Saturday night but he remains the best rated player in Ligue 1 this season with 20 goals and four assists contributing to a rating of 7.95.
Real Madrid meanwhile claimed a huge 4-0 win over Girona to move five points clear in the race for the La Liga title.
